Very busy map, certainly a proper thing in the case of Nike though! Good job with the various connections, although it might be helpful if you added some clarification on the actual lines (perhaps this is not necessary). From what I understood, most of the Nike symbols (except the one in Oregon) represent producers and the trucks represent markets in certain countries? The information that Nike gives about it's relations to China is useful but if possible it would be nice to see a link to where you got the info or at least a more complete citation. I liked the link to the Beijing Olympics news and more things like that would be helpful. To be honest I was somewhat disappointed at the lack of information about the working conditions. Are these producers located in Export Processing Zones? Overall though it looks like you put some work into this, good job!
Very nice job. You really included every feature into your map. The only thing is I'm not quite sure what the different colored lines represent. You probably clarified this somewhere and I didn't notice. Good Job!
There is a whole lot going on in this map but I think it is effective considering your corporation is Nike and it's global ties are incredible and everywhere. I was a little confused by some of the symbols but I really liked your sourcing lines they were very clear and color coordinated. It is easy to see where Nike sources its products from and as easy to see where Nike sells their products. The search for sourcing efficiencies is very easily noted in your map. Great Job!
Write a short paragraph about a classmate's map. Comment on what is interesting or unique about the particular TNC or about the presentation of the map itself. Do this for at least three maps. Comments are due by Friday, December 11th at noon and are factored into the map grade.
